Things To Consider When Buying a Domain Name For Life Coaches

If you're looking for a new website or blog, one of the first things you'll need to do is choose a domain name. And if you want to be sure you're choosing a good one, it's important to do some keyword research first.

There are a few different ways to go about this. First, you can use a tool like Google Keyword Planner to see how often certain keywords are being searched for. This can be helpful in choosing a domain name that will get traffic from search engines.

You can also look at your competition to see what keywords they're targeting. This can give you some ideas of what keywords you should be targeting as well. Just make sure you're not copying them exactly, or you could get penalized by search engines for keyword stuffing.

Doing some keyword research before choosing your domain name will help ensure that you're getting traffic from day one.

When it comes to finding the perfect domain name for your website, it's important to understand how to search for keywords. Searching for keywords can help you find the best domain names that reflect your brand and make sure they are optimized for SEO. Here are some tips on how to search for keywords when looking for a domain name.

1. Analyze Your Brand & Niche: The first thing you need to do is analyze your brand and niche so that you can get an idea of what type of words will be associated with it. Make a list of all the topics and related words that could be used in your domain name.

2. Use Keyword Research Tools: There are many keyword research tools available online that can help you find relevant keywords related to your niche or industry. These tools will allow you to see which words have high search volume and low competition, so you can choose the best possible keywords for your domain name.

3. Utilize Domain Name Generators: Domain name generators are great tools that can help you generate hundreds of potential domain names based on the keywords you provide. This helps narrow down the list of potential domains and makes sure they are SEO friendly.

4. Check Availability: Once you have generated a few potential domains, make sure to check their availability before committing to one particular domain name. This way, you'll know if someone else has already registered it or if it's available for purchase.

By following these tips, you should be able to quickly and easily find the perfect domain name for your website! Good luck!

Get the .com of your business name if possible. If you cannot get a decent .com, consider dot net, org, info, etc before trying to be too creative. Always try and buy your own name as a dot com even if you only use it to redirect to the name of your business. If you see your name as a dot coach, buy it, presuming it’s not a premium price, and then figure out how to use it later (you can always do a redirect). Try and keep your domain as short and easy to remember as possible. Don’t get too cute with misspellings and making up new words. Yes there are a lot out there like Tumblr, Bitly, and Flickr that succeed, but they offer no SEO benefit and can be confusing to people. Do consider including your local city if you only want local traffic and face-to-face clients.

I hope this has given you something to think about. Just because you already have a domain name doesn't mean you can't benefit from changing it or adding others.  If you have any questions or comments, please let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to help.
